Street Story Custom Boundary

You can create your own interest area and share with people by following the steps below. To learn more about this feature, please see the Street Story Starter Guide or visit our information page.

1. Zoom in to your area of interest

Select a county and/or city.

Optionally, you can skip this step for the statewide view.

2. Draw or upload your own boundary

Use the drawing tool on the upper right side of the map below to draw your own boundary.

Upload your own boundary. The file should be a GeoJSON or a ESRI shapefile (.zip) format with the size of 2MB or smaller.

Edit your boundary:

3. Enter your project name (as in your application title)

Please name your area for future reference.

4. (Optional) Enter a due date for the feedback

Please enter the date you wish to collect data for your area by.

Format: MM/DD/YYYY

5. (Optional) Enter your information

Please enter your email address in case you need to modify your area. The editing link will be sent to this address.

6. Create the boundary

Draw or upload a boundary and enter a project name to enable this button.
